Mobile Application Development for Penguin Cargo
As part of this project, a fully functional mobile application was developed for both iOS and Android platforms for Penguin Cargo. The main goal was to digitize cargo and courier services, making the ordering and tracking processes faster and more transparent.
Through the app, users can create shipment requests, track delivery status in real time, calculate shipping costs, and receive instant updates via the notification system. Designed for both individual and corporate clients, this mobile solution centralizes logistics operations, simplifies management, and enhances service quality.
The design follows modern UX/UI standards, includes multilingual support, and is fully mobile-optimized. With this mobile application, Penguin Cargo introduced online ordering, shipment tracking, notification integration, and digital management features, offering customers a more efficient and reliable service experience.

The stages we went through in this project
01/
A technical specification was prepared for Penguin Cargo to digitize cargo transportation processes. The main goal was to enable customers to create and track shipping orders easily through the mobile application.
02/
The structure and functional flows of the app were planned. Key modules such as order creation, cargo tracking, price calculation, notifications, and driver panel were defined.
03/
A complete UI/UX design system was created in Figma, focusing on a minimalist interface, simplified order flow, and fast navigation.
04/
The frontend was developed using Flutter, optimized for both Android and iOS devices. Adaptive design and offline mode functionality were implemented.
05/
On the server side, API structures were developed to manage orders, clients, drivers, and delivery data. All data transmission was implemented with full encryption.
06/
A socket infrastructure was built using Node.js for real-time communication. Status changes and message notifications between the client and driver are synchronized instantly.
07/
A RabbitMQ-based message queue system was implemented for orderly notification delivery, improving system stability and performance.
08/
The testing phase covered order flow, map integration, notifications, and socket communication. The app successfully passed all tests and was prepared for deployment.
09/
The project was successfully launched. Through the app, customers can now track their orders, make payments, and rate service quality.

Penguin Cargo relied mainly on phone calls and manual processes for order creation and tracking, with no real-time monitoring or mobile solutions.

With iOS and Android mobile app development, the ordering and shipping processes were fully digitized, integrating tracking, notifications, and management into one system.
